2026 (SM) – 450th anniversary of the death of Tiziano (COINCARD)

The centre depicts the Allegory of Wisdom, a detail from Titian’s painting, preserved at the Marciana National Library in Venice. The coin is completed by the inscriptions TIZIANO and SAN MARINO on the left, the letter R, identifying the Mint of Rome, on the right, and the initials of the author Silvia Ciucci, SC, at the bottom centre, and the dates 1576 and 2026 on the right. The twelve stars of the European Union are depicted around the edge.
