OUR STORY

My first experience with coin collecting dates back to 2002. That was when I first laid my hands on actual Euro coins and got really impressed by the fact that each country had its own special representation depicted on its coins. This feeling of fascination was of course temporary and superficial but I'd just caught the coin collector's bug (without knowing it at the time).. 
 

My second encounter with Euro coins occurred in 2015, when while working at ALKIONIDES SEASIDE HOTEL I got hold of 2€ coins that looked totally different from the ones I'd seen in the past. This, combined with the fact I'd just discovered a relative of mine had created their own admirable coin collection and my love for coin collecting was officially back. 
 

Thus began my research, which led me to discover that each country has the right to issue up to two 2€ commemorative coins annually, except for the years 2007, 2009, 2012, 2015 and 2022 (when all countries issued an extra coin sharing the same representation).

Each €2 Commemorative Coin depicts an image, an anniversary, an important public figure, a fact that brings you closer to the history of each nation. 
 

That's pretty much how I embarked on this journey that gave me the opportunity to forge long-lasting collaborations and friendships with people from every European country, who supply me with all the new 2€ coins issued in their countries. 

Therefore, I am able to supply large quantities of all new coins from all EU countries.Moreover, I maintain access to coins issued in the previous years, which I am able to provide you with upon request. 
 

Collecting €2 coins is a marathon that requires dedication, patience, perseverance and investing a significant amount of free time for those who wish to enrich and expand their collection. Understanding all these challenges of the collecting process, I decided to start Euro Coin Collection, through which I hope I can help you build your own collection bit by bit.
